The product Pycnogenol, a dietary supplement, contains a patented extract from the bark of coastal pine under the trade name Pycnogenol. The extract is standardized to the content of min. 65% proanthocyanidins (OPCs). Maritime pine bark extract shows health-promoting properties, primarily supporting blood circulation, including microcirculation in the brain.
It also shows a strong antioxidant effect, protecting the body's cells against the harmful effects of free radicals.
