Jarrow Formulas MK-7 is naturally produced by fermentation with Bacillus subtilis subsp. natto and is 10 times better absorbed than the K1 from spinach. MK-7 is a longer-acting form of vitamin K compared to K1 and MK-4, and has been clinically proven to better support the carboxylation of specific proteins needed to build bone and help protect arteries from calcium build-up.
