Description of Kenay AG Dihydroquercetin Taxifolin 50 mg

Dihydroquercetin is a molecular version of a known flavonoid - quercetin, endowed with a much higher biological activity. It limits the oxidation of vitamin C, and also retains it longer in the body. It belongs to the group of flavonoids, i.e. organic chemical compounds found in plants that act as antioxidants and dyes and protect plants against attacks by insects and fungi. The same group of chemical compounds includes, among others, rutin and quercetin.
