Description of Medverita Nattokinase 2000 FU

Nattokinase is a proteolytic enzyme obtained from natto, a traditional Japanese dish that is produced by fermenting soybeans with the help of Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria. This enzyme degrades fibrin, a protein involved in the blood clotting process.  Each capsule of the preparation contains 2000 FU units of nattokinase, where FU means a unit of activity of the enzyme that breaks down fibrin.
The product is suitable for people on a vegetarian and vegan diet. The capsules are made of cellulose, without ingredients of animal origin.
