This plant originates from tropical Asia.  This preparation contains bamboo shoot extract standardized to contain 75% naturally occurring silica. Each capsule contains 133 mg of bamboo shoot extract, including 100 mg of organic silicon. The product is suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.
