Description of Medverita Q-Folate active folic acid 400 µg

Folate,  or levomefolic acid (5-MTHF) is the active form of vitamin B9. Folates, unlike the popular, synthetic pteroylmonoglutamic acid, do not need to be converted in the liver and go directly into the bloodstream. Quatrefolic® used in the preparation   is the most bioavailable and stable form of folate.
