Resveratrol is an organic chemical compound that is produced by some higher plants in response to pathogen attack (bacteria, fungi, parasites). Resveratrol is a derivative of stilbene, which belongs to the group of plant polyphenols. The preparation contains 200 mg of natural Japanese knotweed extract, including as much as  100 mg of pure trans-resveratrol. Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins (OPC) are active organic compounds that constitute a group of interconnected flavonoids and are found, among others, in grape seeds.
