Chanca piedra is a herb of the Phyllanthaceae genus that grows in tropical and subtropical areas of both hemispheres. It is rich in a variety of phytonutrients, the properties of which have been used for centuries by followers of Ayurveda, the Malays, the Chinese and South Americans. Food supplement contains chanca piedra herb extract (Phyllanthus niruri), DER 10:1, whose name in Spanish means ‘stone breaker’. The 500 mg of extract found in 1 capsule was extracted from 5000 mg of the herb Phyllanthus niruri.
