Description of Osavi Shiitake 800 mg

Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) is a fungus long valued in Asia, especially in Japan and China, where it is not only an important culinary ingredient but also recognised as a source of valuable substances. An extract rich in polysaccharides and beta-glucans is obtained from the fruiting bodies of the shiitake mushroom. Daily serving (2 capsules): 800 mg extract from shiitake fruiting bodies (DER 10:1), standardised to a minimum of 40% (≥320 mg) polysaccharides, including at least 160 mg beta-glucans. To obtain 800 mg of extract, 8 g of shiitake fruiting bodies were used.
