Description of OstroVit Ashwagandha

  • Ashwagandha root extract - Extract from the root of a plant belonging to the Solanaceae family, also known as Indian Winter cherry or Indian ginseng. It is a substance used primarily in Ayurvedic medicine, which is categorized as an adaptogen. Fresh ashwagandha root is characterized by its intense aroma and abundance of valuable substances - it is primarily a source of vitanolides, alkaloids and withaferin A, the content of which is standardized in the extract from the plant used in the preparation OstroVit.
  • Black pepper fruit extract - Extract from the fruit of an evergreen plant from the pepper family that can reach up to 15 meters in height. Black pepper is cultivated in tropical countries, primarily for the fruit of the plant, which yields the popular spice. A valuable compound present in black pepper is piperine - an organic chemical compound classified as an alkaloid. This is the substance that is responsible for the characteristic pungent taste of pepper. Since the compound has a number of valuable properties, the black pepper extract used in OstroVit is standardized to 95% piperine.

Directions OstroVit Ashwagandha
