Description of Medverita Sodium butyrate

Sodium butyrate  contains butyric acid, which is a short-chain fatty acid. Butyric acid is the main energy material for intestinal epithelial cells.  The preparation includes the sodium salt of butyric acid, which has undergone a microencapsulation process. Each capsule contains 585 mg of sodium butyrate, including as much as 175 mg of butyric acid.
