Description of OstroVit Vitamin D3 4000 IU drops

Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is a steroidal, organic chemical compound that belongs to the group of fat-soluble vitamins. Thus, the assimilation of the ingredient is closely related to the presence of fats in the daily diet. Vitamin D3 is a substance, which is delivered to the body with food (It can be found, i.a. in oily sea fish), as well as through skin synthesis. However, it is stored primarily in adipose tissue and liver.
Vitamin E is a group of organic chemical compounds, classified as fat-soluble vitamins. It is a compound that in the human body is stored primarily in adipose tissue, as well as in the adrenal glands. Dietary sources of vitamin E include vegetable oils, i.a. olive oil and sunflower oil, as well as nuts and germs of cereal seeds.
In the preparation OstroVit you can find vitamin D3 and vitamin E supplementing its action. In addition, dietary supplement also contains MCT oil from Guinea oilseed oil, i.e. medium-chain fatty acids that have a positive effect on the absorption of active compounds present in the product. Thanks to the use of the liquid form of the preparation, valuable substances can penetrate the circulatory system even faster, which positively affects the effectiveness and speed of the supplement.
  • Vitamin D present in the product helps to maintain healthy bones and teeth and in the proper functioning of muscles, and what is more, it supports the proper functioning of the immune system. The compound also helps in the proper absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus and in maintaining the proper level of calcium in the blood. The substance is also involved in the process of cell division.
  • In turn, vitamin E used in the preparation supports the protection of cells against oxidative stress.

Directions OstroVit Vitamin D3 4000 IU drops

Healthy adults up to 75 years of age - 1 drop a day with a meal; healthy adults over 75 years of age - 2 drops daily with a meal.

Before use, it is advisable to perform a 25- (OH) D blood test and consult your doctor or pharmacist for the results.
